About Cablevision Editorials

Hi, I’m Peter Kohler here in the Woodbury studio where we tape the Cablevision Editorials that you’ll find on News 12 Long Island on Tuesday, Friday and during the weekend.

Though we share studio facilities with News 12 Long Island, we’re independent from the news networks. These editorials reflect the opinions of our Corporate Editorial Board, comprised of top Cablevision management.

It’s our job to comment on state and local issues, gaining input from meetings and conversations with public officials and community leaders. And we also welcome topic suggestions and feedback from you.

You’ll find the latest editorial videos and scripts here on the Cablevision Editorials website, along with archived editorials, editorial replies and viewer comments.

And if you want to weigh in on one of our editorial topics, there are many ways to do so.

An Editorial Reply offers those who disagree with us an opportunity to do so, using this studio to present their opposing views. You’ll find more detailed information on how to submit a reply script here on our website.

You’ll also find our Your Turn response form for e-mail responses, as well as a tab to submit video responses, those you can tape yourself. Or if you prefer, you can write or call us. Some of your calls—with your permission—may be featured on Your Turn segments. E-mail comments from viewers are also frequently featured on air in our Your Turn segments.

So take a tour of our website. We hope you’ll use it to join the dialog.
